Infection Prevention and Control Pointers for Suspected or Confirmed Measles Cases in Primary Care
Please be advised that everyone needs to be aware of the necessary precautions to take when dealing with any suspected measles concerns in a patient.
If you suspect measles in a patient (someone with compatible clinical symptoms in the setting of potential exposure or travel to an area of high measles prevalence, particularly in the absence of immunity), please use airborne precautions and report the case to Public Health Communicable Disease Reporting.
