How do I register for online booking?

Can I book online if I do not have a family doctor?
Only patients of the North Shore Medical can book an appointment. If you are not a patient or have not had an appointment in over four years, the doctor will not see you.
I booked my appointment online, but didn't receive a confirmation email?
1. At the end of booking it lists a booking confirmation that can be printed. Please make note of the appointment.
2. Accession: Refer to the picture below. You can see your booked appointments by clicking the appointments button while logged into your account. Your booked appointments will be listed under “Pending Appointments”. Please make sure you record which type of appointment you booked (virtual or in person) as the place will always list “The North Shore Medical Group”. We are currently working with Accession to have it set up so you receive a confirmation email at the time of booking, but this is not configured at this time.

When you booked the appointment, you would have had to select the type of appointment. If you are unsure, we recommend calling the office to confirm whether your appointment is virtual or in person.
Will I get an appointment reminder?
You should receive an appointment reminder a day before your appointment. We do not recommend relying solely on appointment reminders and encourage you to put your own entry into your calendar or planner to ensure you do not miss an appointment.
Can I use one email for my child and myself?
No. Accession and Medeo allow only one email to be linked to a single account. If you want to book online for your child, we recommend creating a separate email for them to register for online booking or call the office to book their appointments.
What appointments should I NOT book online and call the office to book instead?
Special appointments such as mental health check-ups, complete physicals, PAPs, biopsies or procedures, driver's medical, well baby checks and WorkSafe BC should be booked by contacting the office directly.
I am trying to cancel my appointment online, but it won't let me?
The system will not allow you to cancel an apppointment within 24 hours of it. A no show fee will be charged for last minute cancellations or "no shows."
